Like many other artists, I often use several source images to produce what appears to be a real place when in fact the process is more akin to a collage than anything else.

To date, most of these works are part of what I have called 'The Corona Collection' because I completed a new piece every day until the end of the first lockdown in France, in May 2020. Working mainly with charcoal and pierre noire to begin with, I then started using soft pastels for the first time and enjoyed discovering how challenging and rewarding this medium can be.
